The Shittah... and the Belly Button, see it?

Ahhhh.... nothing but blue skies, battleship gray rocks and WHITE everything! It's great! (Ask me again in 4 months what I think...) No, I love it, then again, I am the kind of person that has fun with a shoebox and a string. You can make a sweet guitar with them... Yeah, well, anyway. Glacier life, so far, has been great. There are only four of us up there piecing things together. I now have most of the kitchen put together. A lot of cleaning every utensil, pot, pan, sheet, shelving, etc. The camp is starting to look like people live there now. Between the four of us, we have gotten all but one yard done. There is a total of six yards, with 40 dogs per yard.
So weird to fly up on a camp in the middle of a glacier. When we flew in, I felt like we were headed to a frozen Jurassic park, where Mammoths and Saber Tooth's roam, but so far, I haven't seen any...
Matt, he's from Eagle, Alaska, and I had our day off and got to see a little of Skagway. It's kind of like a western movie. Small town, nice people. I have to remember, we have only been here for a little bit, a lot can change. We are headed back today, so little time. Excited to get back, weird I know, but that's where the food is! Kind of expensive here and when you have used most of your funds... well, you get the point! Any who, will write more later, on my next day off!
Take care and remember, keep the shiny side up...
