A time to Reflect on what good will come...

4 at 5's
Our plan of attack tomorrow is to leave our humble abode of Beach Escape, the backpackers. No worries, we had the somewhat proper kava ceremony, rum drinking, game of 5’s with Norse blood… what else could one ask for? What a great night of mixed languages, common smiles and most important… laughter with newly made friends!
Now is the time for me to reflect on the time that I have now. I lost one thing that means the world to me, one thing that is or was my life. One thing that I can never replace, the memories of my grandfathers last birthday out, my nieces soccer game, memories of my mother and my friends that have passed and ones that are still alive. The timeless photos of the farm I grew up on… I lost all of them. The second day we were here in Fiji I went to my bag to grab my charger for my camera and my two external hard drives were gone. Honestly, what can I do? I lost THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of photos as well as all videos, ones that flew through my memory as fresh as they had happened. I never forget a photo that I have taken. NEVER! Honestly, what can one do? Dwell? No, just create more memories and make them better! Life is funny how it works. All I can really do is just be happy to have had those memories and still remember most.
I’m not going to tell everyone what has happened to the T while on this crazy trip, but I am going to do my best! I will tell you this, what a great group! You have Jerry, the adult version of Dennis the Menace, David, don’t let him fool you, Dylan, the man you can’t let anything get by and me... a girl from a small town in Maine, now an island in Hawaii that is going to show that no matter what anyone may say, anything is possible! Life is an amazing journey and no one should ever tell anyone that they aren’t capable of something, especially if they have their mind set to it.
Let’s get this show on the… water!
