Day 2 in Alaska

Ok y'all...

So, yes I'm alive and I haven't seen any moose yet, but there are
chickadees here! Which I love because they remind me of my Nana. When
I woke up this morning it was -6 out. It's not a cold -6, it's rather
nice. It starts to get bright out about 9 and that's when I woke up.
Yesterday I woke up at 7 and stared at the ceiling, not wanting to
wake anyone up. I'm going to make this quick, I have chores to take
care of. So yesterday... I cleaned out 12 dog houses and put in new
straw, Scott and I cut up about 75-100lbs of meat, maybe 100-150 lbs.
of treats, and about 50 lbs. of fat. Cleaned the "yard" (dog yard),
helped Sue, a woman that dropped out of the Yukon Quest, which is a 1000
mile race from Whitehorse to Fairbanks, get her team "un-bootied" and
into the trucks. I gave them all a little rub down after their run,
couldn't help it and I am sure they enjoyed it.
There's more, but I have to get my day going. I cooked up some rice
this morning for the dogs and I will be going on a run with Scott, whom
I am working for. I'll write up a little more about him when I have a free moment.
Very excited. Try to take photos, but I am working like a dog!!! Pun
intended!

Can't wait for what lies ahead!!!

Scott carting my sorry booty! Thanks for the photo Dave
